One-on-one class

Maybe you are completely new to the pottery wheel? We can start from the very beginning I am excited to customize an experience as individual as you! These classes are typically not project based but you are welcome to request a specific piece for your private lesson.

This class included one piece, which is fired and ready for you to pick up around 6 weeks later. If you’d like to keep more than one item, then we’ll happily fire and glaze them for €8 an item. Yes, it’s functional - you can pop it in the microwave/dishwasher or plant a happy plant in it.

This class includes 2 hours of private lessons in my private farmer studio in Deinze, near Ghent, all tools needed, kiln firing services, stoneware and glaze.

Terms and conditions

• The one-on-one classes start on time, if you are late you can join class but time cannot be made up at the end of the session.

• Working with clay can be very messy. It is best if you come in clothes and footwear you don't mind getting dirty. No watches or jewellery to be worn. I will not be held responsible for any damage to clothing, shoes, jewellery, watches or mobile devices whilst in the studio.

• All work made in classes will be bisque fired and kiln fired. Please be aware that although every due care and attention is given to every piece we put in the kiln, once inside the kiln we cannot be held responsible for any work that cracks, explodes or is damaged due to another object exploding. This unfortunately, is out of our hands and is part of the many beauties and difficulties of working with clay.

• The firing of your work can take up to 6 weeks. Once fired and ready we will contact you to arrange a pick up.
